CAPSULE WARDROBE CHALLENGE: 20 PIECES FOR MAY
Share
Have you ever stood in front of your wardrobe thinking, I have nothing to wear, even though your closet is full? Yeah, us too. That’s why we’re inviting you to join us in trying something new this May: a capsule wardrobe challenge.
If you haven’t heard of it before, a capsule wardrobe is all about choosing a small number of clothing items that you love and feel good in, and wearing only those for a set amount of time. Think fewer pieces, but more intention. For May, we’re challenging ourselves (and you!) to pick 20 pieces to wear throughout the month.
Why do this?
Because more isn’t always better. A capsule wardrobe is a great way to:
-
Discover what you actually enjoy wearing
-
Reduce decision fatigue (hello, easy mornings)
-
Spark creativity with new outfit combinations
-
Save time and energy
-
And honestly, have a little fun with it!
The idea isn’t to deprive ourselves or follow strict rules, but to explore and play with what we already own. We’ve never done this before either, so it’s all a bit of an experiment—and we’d love for you to join us.
A few notes:
-
Your 20 pieces include tops, bottoms, dresses, shoes, jackets.
-
Underwear doesn’t count (phew, right?).
-
Accessories like hats, jewelry, and bags are up to you, this isn’t bootcamp, it’s a vibe.
-
No pressure to be perfect. If you need to adjust along the way, do it.
We’re curious to see what happens when we strip things back a little, what we reach for, what surprises us, and what we learn about our personal style along the way.
Whether you’re feeling stuck in your wardrobe or just want to try something new, this is your invitation to join us. Not to be perfect, but to play. To simplify. To reconnect with your clothes, and maybe even with yourself.
So… 20 pieces, 31 days. You in?
