INTENTIONAL SKINCARE RITUALS
Share

Skincare can be so much more than recovery, protection, and prevention - it can also be a ritual that helps regulate your nervous system. A pause just for you: a moment to wake slowly, or to unwind before rest.
We like to focus on a few non-toxic, high-quality skincare products and spend time on mindful techniques within the routine. These practices take only a few minutes, yet those minutes become an anchor - especially when combined with deep, intentional breathing.
DRY BRUSHING
Dry brushing is a simple yet deeply awakening ritual. Using a natural bristle brush on dry skin before showering helps stimulate circulation, promote lymphatic drainage (the body’s natural detox flow), and gently exfoliate.

FACIAL MASSAGE
Facial massage increases circulation, releases tension and blockages, softens fine lines, and naturally slows the aging process.
SCALP MASSAGE
We also love adding a few minutes of scalp massage to our routine. It increases blood flow to the scalp, relieves tension, and can support overall relaxation.
GUA SHA
Gently gliding it across the face and neck can improve circulation, reduce puffiness, and enhance lymphatic drainage, leaving the skin feeling refreshed and lifted.
FACIAL TAPING
Facial taping is a favorite ritual. By gently reducing muscle tension overnight, it helps prevent repetitive expressions, supports skin health, slows down aging, and promotes a calmer state of being.
Noticing and releasing tension in the jaw, brow, and forehead during the day further supports skin health, encourages relaxation, and calms the nervous system.
BODY CUPPING
Body cupping uses gentle suction to boost circulation, release muscle tension, and support lymphatic flow. It relaxes the body, eases stress, and leaves you feeling lighter and energized.
SAUNA
The sauna is one of the most restorative rituals we know. The gentle heat opens pores, increases circulation, and supports the body’s natural detoxification process. Regular sauna sessions can boost skin clarity and elasticity while calming the nervous system, promoting deep relaxation, and are associated with better health and increased longevity.
