RELEASING

RELEASING

Change happens when we make space by letting go of the old.

When we make space, new ideas, feelings, and our truest, highest self can gently find their way in.

Sometimes, what we need to let go of isn’t obvious. It might be:

~ Thoughts or beliefs about ourselves that limit us

~ Daily habits that consume time and energy without offering value

~ Pushing ourselves so hard that we lose sight of our path

~ Fears about what others might think

~ Outdated beliefs about how things “should” be

The first step is to see these patterns clearly. This requires presence. Find a way to make your thoughts and actions visible - whether it’s walking in nature, journaling, sitting by the ocean, or any space where you can hear yourself without distraction. Notice what feels heavy or draining.

Once identified, there are many ways to release what no longer serves you. You might write them down and then tear the paper into pieces, symbolically letting them go. Or you might write a simple statement: I release this now. Sometimes, even saying it out loud can be powerful.

FEAR IS OFTEN ONE OF THE HARDEST THING TO RELEASE

One method is to walk yourself through the worst-case scenario: If this fear came true, how would I handle it? When you have a plan, fear begins to lose its grip. Then, compare this worst-case scenario with the cost of staying exactly where you are. Often, the cost of staying stuck is far greater than the risk of moving forward.

RELEASING IS AN ACT OF SELF-RESPECT

It’s choosing to trust that what you set down will make room for something better - something more aligned with who you are becoming.

So take a breath, make space, and let go. Your next chapter is waiting.
