We asked her 5 quick questions about her and the artistry behind our essentials.
WHO IS SHE?
Garment Production Operator at our production facility Reguentex.
Taking care of key steps in the creation of our lounge underwear. Always eager to learn new things, Angela constantly develops her skills to work with different parts of the production process.
WHAT DREW YOU TO THE TEXTILE INDUSTRY?
“I was really curious about the textile industry and impressed by how much work goes into every piece. I also find it incredibly satisfying to create something from nothing - and to see people’s reactions to what we make.”
HOW DOES A TYPICAL WORKING DAY LOOK LIKE FOR YOU?
“I’m very eager to learn, so I’m always expanding my skills to take part in different stages of production. Some days, I focus on the transfers printed inside each piece - with information like the brand name, composition, and size. Other days, I operate the fabric-cutting machine or another part of the process flow. Sometimes, I take care of the packaging of finished pieces.”
WHEN YOU TAKE A PAUSE, WHAT HELPS YOU RECHARGE?
“Spending time with my colleagues.”
WHAT MAKES A WELL-MADE GARMENT FEEL DIFFERENT?
“Quality - the feel of the fabric, its endurance, and its long-lasting construction. When I look at a piece in a shop, I can tell right away if it’s well made. You can see it in the seams.”
HOW MANY STEPS ARE THERE IN MAKING ONE PAIR OF LOUNGE UNDERWEAR?
“16.
After production is approved, the fabric is carefully prepared, cut, and labeled for each part, from the front and back to the gusset. The pieces are then printed with care, sewn together step by step, and finished with the soft elastics and the signature label. Every piece passes through quality control, ironing, and careful packaging before shipping.”
