Coco Chanel, born Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel in 1883, rose from humble beginnings. She spent part of her childhood in a convent orphanage, where she learned to sew. What began as a necessity would later become her craft and her power.

In her early twenties, she worked as a cabaret performer and earned the nickname “Coco.” At 27, she opened her first boutique in Paris, Chanel Modes, focusing on hats. Through quiet confidence, sharp business sense, and determination, she gradually expanded her brand, eventually dressing women in clothing that combined comfort, elegance, and practicality.
