Why we choose TENCEL™ Lyocell over cotton

Cotton cultivation uses around 30 million hectares of land, enough to feed 24 million people.

TENCEL™ Lyocell, made from sustainably sourced wood pulp, requires no arable land.

02 WATER EFFICIENT & CLEAN 

The beech trees used for TENCEL™ Lyocell need minimal water and no artificial irrigation.

Cotton uses 10–20x more water and is rarely fully organic.

Beech forests are naturally GMO- and chemical-free.

03 FABRIC QUALITIES & COMFORT

 TENCEL™ Lyocell absorbs 50% more moisture than cotton, keeping us dry and comfortable longer. Naturally antimicrobial, it reduces bacteria growth and stays fresher. It’s also softer, with a smooth texture comparable to silk.
